What is Radiesse™?

Chemical Peel
Medical Strength Glycolic and Salicylic Peels
Peels, especially repetitive superficial peels, can be among the best treatments to address solar aging (age spots), fine lines and hyperpigmentation (uneven pigmentation). Glycolic acid peels in particular can be a beneficial monthly treatment that will provide noticeable results for the patient with every little downtime.
A chemical burn is a controlled burn of the skin. The wounding can be superficial, medium or deep depending on the solution applied. The epidermal and dermal wounding peel will improve collagen remodeling, improve blood flow to the skin and increase the ground substance thereby improving the appearance of the skin.

Vein Therapy
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is the injection of solutions into abnormally dilated or cosmetically unacceptable veins. The process provokes an irritation of the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to eventually collapse and fade from view. Treatment involves little if any discomfort and no down time. Two to three sessions may be required with 50-80% of injected veins eliminated with each session.
Prior to the procedure it is preferred that the client pick up some compression stockings 20-30 mm Hg. Do not use bath oil, lotion or powder the night before or day of treatment. Wear loose slacks, sweat pants, or a skirt to accommodate any dressings or compression hose. Bring loose fitting shorts to wear during the procedure. Avoid anti-inflammatories and aspirin for one week prior to the procedure.
Light Therapy
For smaller veins of the face and body laser or light treatments may be beneficial. Telangiectasias are slightly raised red spots of blood vessels just under the surface of the skin. Facial redness is generally caused by small thread veins and tiny blood vessels under the skin. IPL treatment and ND:YAG laser light is an alternative to injecting the vessels with a sclerosing solution and is suitable for the treatment of many red skin blemishes on the face and upper body. IPL and ND:YAG laser light which is readily absorbed by the blood vessels is used to blanch and close the fine thread veins and leg veins. Mild discomfort (without anesthesia) is rewarded with an immediate result.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical, noninvasive procedure that offers safe and controlled removal of the outer, dead layers of the skin. The remaining skin is more smooth, fresh and rejuvenated. Microdermabrasion is helpful for those unhappy with acne scarring, sun-damaged skin, age spots, freckles, stretch marks, fine lines, scars, and rough skin. It is a safe, therapeutic approach to skin care when used alone or in combination with other treatments.
Microdermabrasion uses crystals to aggressively exfoliate away the dull layer of dead skin, uprooting the damaged cells to reveal fresh, invigorated skin. A slight vacuum is used to remove the exfoliated cells and crystals from your skin’s surface. Each treatment takes from 30 minutes to an hour.
